How do I bring my grades up?

This might help but it might not. im 13 and, not brag or anything but, im fairly smart (im only saying this because im in Algebra 1 in the 7th grade). my grades were always A's and B's until i guess i kind of stopped caring about school and my parents yelled at me. My grades started to fall and i asked the teachers if i could do any extra credit work to bring up my grades from C's and D's to at least a B, i also asked if i had gotten a bad grade on a test if i could retake it and they usually said yes. my teachers (might be different if your older or younger) were very happy to see that i was willing to do more to bring up my grades. i barely ever did all of my homework and that was one of the main reasons that my grades weren't as good. also, show your parents that you can do it and that you will go a long way to and put forth effort into bringing your grades up. i really hope this helped!
