My brother is 53 and his wife is 52. He makes about $20,000 per year. He lives in a house with his quadraplegic wife who can only talk - she needs 24/7 care. Anyway, the house is deeply mortgaged for fare more than the house is worth, he no longer has any cable tv, his air conditioner is broken (and he lives in HOT and HUMID central Florida). He also has no internet connection anymore - which is crippling his business endeavors. His 25 year old daughter and her boyfriend also live there with his grandson. The house is infested with roaches. The wife has severe multiple sclerosis. Is there any type of istance they can get? Free phone? free internet? He also can't pay his electric bill.
