I have a sony laptop and hd camcorder. when i try to play my videos on the computer they are in slow motion.?

the video plays in slow motion and is really really choppy. the audio also crackles really bad. it plays back just fine on the camera, just not the computer. camera is sony hdr-sr10 and computer is vgn-cr320e. please help!
